Vergene Downs

Vergene grew up at Emmaus and is a public school teacher in St. Paul. She is extraordinarily gifted in teaching children music and choreography. In her part time position here, Vergene especially focuses on helping children learn and memorize Scripture-based music that is fun to sing. The children’s musicals are a product of her ministry and work with our students.

She and her husband Tom live in Apple Valley and are the parents of two young adult children, Jacob and Rebecca.
