Jeremiah Bang

Jeremiah came on staff at Emmaus as Youth Director after volunteering for a year serving the youth and getting to know the students on Wednesday nights. He is a graduate of the Free Lutheran Bible College in Plymouth MN, and is passionate about studying God’s Word and helping youth and young people develop a personal relationship with Jesus. 

Married in July 2022, Jeremiah loves spending time with his wife Rachel. They enjoy watching movies together, taking day trips to Duluth, or walking their dog around the neighborhood in Bloomington. A fan of all things sports and outdoors, Jeremiah is an avid Vikings supporter and enjoys following his favorite teams as well as spending time outside with friends and playing games such as spike ball and ultimate frisbee.

Jeremiah has a heart for everything youth ministry related and enjoys connecting with teens in a variety of ways such as intense games of gaga ball, challenging group discussions, or deep personal conversations. His vision is for the youth at Emmaus to be encouraged in their walk with Jesus and equipped to share the gospel and make an impact on the world for His Kingdom.
